​This logistics and supply chain management course is suitable for students who would like to pursue a career in the logistics and supply chain management industry. Graduates are enabled to work within a variety of logistics and supply chain-related positions with demonstrable hands-on skills in functions related to retailing, merchandising, or distribution. 

Course Outline

SKILLS YOU WILL DEVELOP 

This Diploma in Business Accounting equips students with accounting skills to be able to work in and manage the accounts of a small, medium, and micro enterprise (SMME). Students with sound numeracy skills, who would like to pursue a career in accounting, specifically cost and management accounting, will benefit from this IIE qualification.

Examination

Exams are written at an exam centre and, in some instances, online. These details will be specified in your programme assessment schedule.

Device Requirements

DEVICE AND CONNECTIVITY SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR ONLINE STUDY:

  • Reliable internet connection (we recommend 5-10 GB of data per month and an internet speed of at least 0.15 Mbps)
  • Desktop PC or laptop with at least an i3 processor and 4GB RAM memory
  • Windows 8 or macOS 10.15 (Microsoft Office 365 is available as a free download for IIE students), and Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium or Firefox
  • A working webcam and microphone
  • An uninterrupted power supply is also highly recommended

The Independent Institute of Education (THE IIE) offers you the opportunity to start with a higher certificate and progress into a diploma or degree.  There are several pathways offered by The IIE at IIE Rosebank College, that enable access to higher-level qualifications.  Speak to the student advisor for more information.
